NiftyMood sets a single first-party cookie, niftymood_voter_id, to record your vote and let you change it within the voting window. It holds a random identifier — not your name, email, or anything that can be tied back to you off-site.

IP address

NiftyMood looks at your IP address to rate-limit voting and prevent spam (e.g. one device flooding the board). IPs aren't shown publicly and aren't sold or shared.

No accounts, no tracking

There are no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party ad trackers. The vote totals you see on the home page are all the data this site stores about participation.
